Moving from Canada to France.
This company needs shutting down.
Got a good quote to move door to door so we used them, big mistake. one day before collection and they cancelled. Red flags should have been flying high but they weren't. A week later and they collected. When our belongings were in France, they notified us and gave us our final bill which had doubled. From 11,800CAD to over 25,000CAD. The car which was part of the shipment and should have been delivered as part of the original quote, they refused to deliver as I hadn't paid for it I was told! There is property damage to the sum of 4800€ and nothing is being done about that even though I paid insurance. So this is a shipping company to stay well clear of as all they are interested in is robbing the customer.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was to have had my household goods in France packed up and put into two 40 foot containers to be shipped to California. I was to have packers several days ago... I was to have had large amounts of supplies delivered (boxes, bubble wrap tape etc.) They never sent supplies so the two men two men who were here for only one day couldn't do much as the company had never sent packing material. They have not sent any other packing people. (they were to show up consecutive days for a marathon three day packing event.) they could not really pack anything the one day they were here as there was no packing material. I have not had any explanation nor have I heard when other packing people might arrive.Paid this company $33,000. to move me from France to the USA. [Name removed by Sirelo] is a good sales man....he gave my account to [Name removed by Sirelo] who has been worthless. Use someone else. KM PS I do not know how to upload my files so will upload something so this canoe sent.Read more

- Mid-May 2024: signed a contract with AMOOV for shipment of my belongings (1.5 cubic metres, 200 kg) by plane, from France to Tokyo, Japan.
- End of May 2024: paid a retainer for the service to be provided within 12 weeks.
- August 2024: my belongings haven't left France. The person assigned to my case at AMOOV stops replying to my messages.
- September 2024 : a new person is assigned to my case by AMOOV (with no explanation as to what happened to the previous one or for their total radio-silence for almost two months).
- October 2024: my belongings still haven't left France. I warn AMOOV that if nothing is done within two weeks, I will signal AMOOV to gthe French authorities in charge of fraud prevention.
- Two weeks later : my belongings still haven't left France. I contact the authorities in charge of fraud prevention. Yet another person is assigned to my case by AMOOV.
- November: I contact another moving company (AGS). Two weeks later my belongings are packed and shipped to Tokyo, to be delivered in a week.
27 weeks after signature of contract with AMOOV and payment of retainer, still trying to get a refund of the retainer. Currently preparing a law suit against AMOOV.Read more
