17My experience with this company was very disappointing. The company appears to work with a loose network of remote workers rather than a structured team. I was initially contacted by a sales agent ([Name removed by Sirelo]in my case), who provided a quote that was significantly lower than competitors and made verbal assurances that later turned out not to be accurate.
After that, a move manager ([Name removed by Sirelo]) took over. Communication with her was extremely difficult. Several things she said she would do were not done, or were done much later than stated. A few days before our scheduled moving date, the actual moving company (as Amoov does not perform the move themselves) still had no clear instructions about what needed to happen or when. This created a lot of uncertainty.
Because of these issues — and after hearing about similar experiences from others — I decided to terminate the contract. I was told by [Name removed by Sirelo] that my deposit would be refunded, but a month later this has still not happened.

I hired AMOOV for an international move from Paris to the Dominican Republic about five months ago. The initial quote was €7,800 for a door-to-door, all-inclusive service, and they told me it would take around 7 weeks. In the end, the move cost me over €16,000 and took 5 months to arrive.
After reading other customer reviews, I now realize I’m actually “lucky” that I even received my belongings at all — but definitely not thanks to AMOOV. The company completely stopped responding to emails, phone calls, or any form of communication. I had to personally contact the port and Dominican customs to finally get my shipment released and delivered to my home.
Two of my furniture pieces arrived completely broken. The so-called “insurance” they include in their service is a total lie — it doesn’t exist, and they ignore all messages about claims or damages.
This has been my experience, and sadly it matches what many others have gone through. There’s even a Facebook group with dozens of victims who have suffered the same kind of scam from this company.
I strongly advise everyone: stay far away from AMOOV. I wouldn’t recommend them even to my worst enemy.Read more
Our container arrived in France two months ago from abroad. It seems to have cleared customs, but we are still waiting for delivery!!! It's impossible to know why there's a 60-day delay because our WhatsApp messages and emails have gone unanswered.
A Registered Letter was sent yesterday as a formal notice.
We're starting to doubt we'll ever see our belongings again!
Needless to say, we strongly advise against using this phantom company.

Notre conteneur est arrivé en France depuis 2 mois de l’etranger. il est dédouane semble-t-il, mais nous sommes toujours en attente de livraison!!! Il est impossible de savoir pourquoi ce délai de 60 jours pour une livraison car nos whatsapp et emails restent lettre morte.
Une Lettre Recommandée avec Accusé de Réception est partie hier pour une Mise en Demeure.
Nous commençons à douter de revoir un jour nos affaires!

Initial quote provided, then doubled with hidden fine print. Promised deadlines not respected (several weeks or even months of delay). If you refuse to pay the additional fees, your belongings are held hostage.
Make sure to read absolutely all the conditions before signing, but even if you’ve already signed, know that this remains illegal and that you can take action. Film all your belongings at departure and upon arrival to keep evidence (fortunately I did this).
They will reply saying they can’t find the file, or with excuses like “sorry, that’s not true,” etc. Just do a quick search on the internet/LinkedIn — dozens of us are gathering to likely launch a collective legal action.

They conducted a hasty video inventory and charged for full wrapping, but packed our belongings carelessly, at a point using our tablecloths. They then added extra charges, claiming a smaller truck and parking issues. We were forced to rush the loading and move unwrapped items ourselves.
Once our belongings left Switzerland, they held them hostage, demanding extra payments for supposed delays and parking fees. We paid, and the items arrived in the US damaged, with broken parts, water stains, and unwrapped items.
After filing an insurance claim and requesting reimbursement, Amoov disappeared, ignoring our emails. you are advised

je vous déconseille fortement cette société, pas fiable, pratiques frauduleuses, augmentation injustifiée des tarifs, communication inexistante (17 messages et appels en 1 journées pour avoir 1 réponse, des messages qui disent juste Bonjour et plus rien pendant 24h). Sur leur site, ils disent que Dassaut Aviation leur fait confiance pour leur déménagement, soit c'est de la publicité mensongère soit les avions Dassault ont des pièces manquantes du fait des retards...
Passez votre chemin, ne faites pas comme moi, ils proposent des prix assez agressifs dès le départ, consultez plusieurs compagnie et faites le choix humain plutôt que le choix financier pour ce grand changement.Read more
