ReloSmart Movers Hong Kong

Absolute horrendous experience after contract was signed and money taken! It is already 9 weeks from packing date and the shipment still being held up in Hong Kong. I started liaising with [Name removed by Sirelo] in Sep 2023 and was informed by him that it would be 8-12 weeks door to door. As of now my shipment is still sitting in Hong Kong for over two months with limited communication on status if I didn’t push for updates. They continue to say the container to U.K. was not full, which was in stark contrast to the estimates I was given by [Name removed by Sirelo] at time of quoting. In mid Feb, I undertook a very expensive international call to the U.K. to get visibility on consolidation status and was finally informed that a container was shipped for the U.K. mid December, just before my packing date. There definitely should’ve been better communication with respect to consolidation status/ shipping date - the message I received from [ whilst deciding between ReloSmart and another shipping firm in December was that consolidation process is c.2 weeks, not 2 months+!
The length of time this shipment is taking and the lack of communication re. delays are very unprofessional - there were numerous times that e-mails were not returned within 24 hours during the work week and I’ve had to send several reminder e-mails.
There was complete lack of sympathy from the team - when asked if they could extend my insurance storage coverage for free out of goodwill given my unfortunate circumstance, I was faced with an outright rejection from [Name removed by Sirelo] and was told that I will be invoiced should the free storage insurance expire upon the two month mark!

The back office team were quick and efficient. The movers themselves were all mature professional and experienced men. Danny their supervisor was friendly and helpful. The billing team and overseas logistics companies were equally efficiennnt and friendly. I felt well cared for and my goods were in safe hands.

I have moved countries several times and this was by far the best experience. Great communication from beginning to end. I didn't need to follow up on anything they always contacted me, which is great when you are busy. Goods packed efficiently and carefully. All staff were very helpful. The price was also very good, significantly cheaper than the well known companies.

Very disappointed! Avoid Relosmart if you can. We had to wait 5 months for delivery of our personal items (Hong Kong-Central Europe). TV came broken. I wish I had chosen a different provider even for a higher price.

If you are relocating and do not need your belongings to start a new life, choose Relosmart. The last time I saw everything I own or used to own was on Dec 24, 2020.

Die Firma Relo smart ist sehr organisiert, höflich und versucht alle Wünsche zu respektieren. Jedoch gab es keinen richtigen Austausch mit der Niederländischen und Deutschen Umzugsfirma. Es wurden falsche Informationen an die Deutsche Firma weitergeleitet. So bekam ich nur kleine Umzugskartons ohne Verpackungsmaterial und hatte nur zwei Tagen zum Packen. Verpackungsmaterial musste ich mir trotz Lockdown selber beschaffen und eben sehr schnell packen. Die größeren Dinge musste ich ohne Karton verpacken. Am Umzugstag kam die Deutsche Umzugsfirma und wollte packen. Keiner wusste von den Mitarbeitern, dass sie nur transportieren sollen. Desweiteren wurden keine Kartons oder persänliche Umzugsdinge von der Umzugsfirma gekennzeichnet. Nun weiß ich nicht, ob ich alles in Hong Kong bekomme.
